Frain has hundreds of cappers in stock ranging in price from $2,000 to $139,000. Depending on your product, speed and container, Frain engineering can select the best capper for your application. There are many different types of caps. Screw, lug, roll-on, crimp-on, press-on, plastic shrink, plugs, fitments, and inner seals. Each cap type requires a different type of machine to apply it. There are inline and rotary cappers. Pneumatic chuck screw cappers, mechanical chuck screw cappers, roller screw cappers, press-on and pilfer-proof press-on cappers, pluggers and fitment applicators, vertical and horizontal cap feeders, centrifugal cap feeders and pocket feeders. Some of the container considerations are strength, rigidity, weight, size, barrier, clarity, surface, appearance, etc.
