Automatic, all S/S, pinhole detection machine for vials, cartridges and ampoules uses a high voltage electrical field and impedance measurement to check each at (4) inspection points, it examines for hairline fissures and pinholes, leaking ampoule neck tips, insufficient glass thickness at the tip and absence of fill. with speeds up to 300 @ min on 1, 2, 3, and 5ml ampoules, 200 @ min on 10 - 20ml, and 150 @ min on 30ml. Ampoule size range of: 10mm - 23mm dia x 21mm - 195mm H, electronic ampoule leak tester has no danger of contamination to the contents, ampoules with small leaks or thin domes that can break during packing get rejected, brown ampoules or opaque solutions do not influence test results, (4) test stations a ampoule dome, ampoule constriction, body and base, all faulty ampoules are discharge onto a tray.
