Frain Industries was established in 1981 when founder Rich Frain recognized the opportunity of providing high quality pre-owned equipment as a competivite alternative to the buyer beware “AS IS” approach employed by other “used” equipment suppliers. To support the largest inventory in the industry, Mr Frain created Cartpac, which provides complete refurbishment, set to size, line integration and mechanical service for all machinery in inventory. To provide maximum flexibility for customers seeking to purchase machinery, Mr. Frain also established Refco Investments, which provides an attractive short-term rental program as well as a traditional capital quipment leasing program for all equipment in inventory.
Frain possess and maintains the most comprehensive library of OEM manuals and literature in the entire packagin and processing industries. Each piece of equipment in inventroy is fully focumented and reserached and this information is maintained in both hard and digital format.
