Centrifuge equipment is generally used in the separation of material due to differences in their specific gravity. A centrifuge machine uses centrifugal force to separate immiscible liquids from suspended solids.Centrifuge equipment uses this differential specific gravity to facilitate the separation. A centrifuge machine can be either of two types – vertical bowl or horizontal pusher. These centrifuge systems are usually continuous in operation. Batch centrifuge machines are also used to separate different materials using very high gravitational forces that are developed with this type of process equipment.
Sharples AS16V vertical centrifuge with a maximum G force of 8,435, bowl rpm speed of 12,000 and a bowl capacity 5.1 liter. Applies centrifugal force to a liquid when fluids enter rotating bowl. The liquid after entering the bowl is rotated at the speed of the bowl and centrifugal force act upon the liquid and separates it into its various parts relative to weight.

GEA Westfalia Model CC 450-01-32, Solid bowl, 3000 rpm, clarifying and drying decanter style centrifuge rated up to 250 gallons per minute – depending on materials, application and machine configuration. All stainless steel sanitary wetted parts. Solid bowl decanter centrifuge with G/CC of 2.0 maximum solids and bowl speed of 3000 rpm, welded hard facing and flip up cover with lined solids discharge ports, liquid plate dams, 40 Hp main and 14¾ Hp secondary motor drives. Solid bowl decanter centrifuge with solids G/CC of 2.0 Maximum and bowl speed of 3000 rpm, with welded hard facing with flip up cover and lined solids discharge ports, liquid plate dams, 30 Hp main and 11 Hp secondary motor drives. Alfa Laval Model MAB 103B24 continuous, solid retaining (3) separator centrifuge, capable of doing up to 1150 liters or 300 gallons per hour of product per hour – depending on materials and application. Capable of seperating out solids, liquids and sediments and has 1 Hp motor drive. Mounted on a painted base frame with control box.
