A Checkweigher is a machine that checks the weight of a package, product, or carton that travels across the load cell of the machine. Checkweighers are outfitted with different kinds of product reject devices to prevent underweight and overweight packages from proceeding down line. Â Checkweighers determine overweight and underweight based on parameter inputs. Â Checkweighers are also used to automatically space filled packages, weight them to check the accuracy of the gross weight, segregate the underweight packages, produce feed-back information for controlling the filling operation and perform a number of other control and record keeping operations. As a general rule, the length of the load cell or weigh cell on the checkweigher should be approximately 1.5 times the length of the package to be weighed. (Technically speaking, the package need only be on the load cell by itself for a fraction of a second, so that a checkweigher with a smaller load cell is suitable for a slower moving line.) Different types of checkweighers are designed for different types of products. Some checkweighers can accurately weigh small tablets in a pharmaceutical house and others may weigh large items that weigh several pounds.

Loma Model CW3 1500, inline, checkweigher rated up to 140 feet per minute with number of product – depending on materials, application, machine configuration and environment being run in. 304 stainless steel construction with brushed finish, Weight range: 10 to 1500 grams. with Accuracies depending on product being run and enviroment being run in, IP65 enviroment and temperatures from 0 to 40 Deg C. Equipped with 22" long x 11-3/4" wide in feed, 15.75" long x 11-3/4" wide load cell and 27" long x 11-3/4" wide discharge anti static food quality conveyors with single ram arm reject, reject collection bin and statis light bar. Control panel has touch pad controller with readout, start, stop, e-stop push buttons and data retrieval capable. Mounted on height adjustable (4) leg base frame.

Brushed 304 stainless steel construction. IQ4 Metal detector has working aperture of 4¼" in Height x 13½" in Width and 11¾" wide blue anti-static product belt conveyor. Sensitivity dependent materials, application and environment.
CW3-1500 Checkweigher has weight range of 10 to 1,500 grams, with accuracies up to 0.6 grams, with 11¾" wide x 15" long load cell conveyor and 51¼" two air blast reject stations.
Mounted on stainess steel frame with touch screen HMI and statis light bar with audible alarm. Features separate weight and contaminant product reject bins.
