Parkson Hydroscreen Model HS36DF, liquid / solids separation system used in municipal and industrial applications for screening fibrous and nongreasy solids with dry weights of 800 lbs and operating weights of 3100 lbs. Compact design with no moving parts, motors, or complicated connections, simple and economical to operate one of the most basic Parkson screens, with high throughput, swinging baffle across the weir directs the flow for efficient screen operation. Unique bi-wave wedgewire screen panel, with double downward curves, increases the rapidly stripping of liquid from the influent as it hits the top of the screen panel, rapid shearing maximizes solids capture and minimizes screen blinding. Additional drainage occurs as the solids captured by the screen roll down the curved screen face. At the end of the screen panel is a drip lip that directs the drained liquid away from the solids and returns it to the filtrate chamber.
