Frain has hundreds of case packers in stock ranging in price from $3,500 to $150,000. Depending on your product, speed and container, Frain engineering specializes in getting to know your, process, product and production requirements in order to optimize the right case packer for you.  Cases come as slotted corrugated, knocked-down, opened, closed, RSC, CSSC, OSC, tablock, special, gaylord, bliss, open top, tray, over wrapped tray, and more. There are top load, side load, bottom up, case erectors, tray erectors, wrap-around, roll through as well as unloading casers.  Casers may be automatic or semi-automatic and have many ways of accumulating and patterning product. Additionally cases may be closed with tape, glue or tuck.  Frain can also integrate 3rd party equipment such as checkweighers, case labeling, readers, machine vision, palletizers and shrink wrappers.  A variety of inserters, coders and printers may also be added as necessary.
We offer both Robotic case packers, conventional packers.to load most any product into most any case style. RSC, FOL/POL, HSC, tray, wrap-around, display and other case types can be custom accommodated . Bliss boxes are created with a solid piece of containerboard that is formed to create the front, back, and bottom of the box. A bliss box case erector then inserts two additional pieces of containerboard to form the sides of the case. The two addition pieces are seal to flaps on the main portion of the case using hot melt glue. Producers demand efficient and reliable non-stop production in wet or dry environments. Massman Model BLCP, Automatic, stainless steel, knockdown case erector, product down stacker, bottom load case packer and hot melt glue sealer with number of product and cases per minute – depending on materials and application. Case size range: Per application. Equipped with 96" long x 11-3/4" wide product in feed conveyor, 60" long (2) chain automatic blank case magazine, (2) suction cup reciprocating pick n place, case transfer conveyor with product down stack and bottom up product load design, Nordson ProBlue hot melt glue unit and flap closers with Seko and hand wheel adjustment, dual 36" long x 3" wide compression and discharge conveyor. Control panel has an A/B PLC and A/B swing arm panel view touch screen contoller with HMI and start, control power, cycle stop and e-stop push buttons with statis light bar. Hartness International, Model 825, Automatic, intermittent motion, ascending, drop case packer rated from 10 to 30 cases per minute and number of product – depending on materials, application and pack pattern. Hartness Model CM/HTW 50-600, Automatic, continous motion, servo, wrap-around case packer rated from up to 60 cycles per minute with number of product and cases – depending on materials and application. Product and case size range depending on project and proper change parts. Equipped with 6" wide x 100" long product in feed conveyor, 36" wide x 144" long laner conveyor, 35" wide x 148" long extended automatic blank case magazine, with bottom up blank case feed conveyor, product collation section with single load bar, servo drives controlled by a multi-axle system and (4) chains adjustable system with electro magnetic clutches used to adjust length.
