The homogenizer mixer is a machine that consists of a positive displacement pump and a valve designed for a specific application. The pump is used to maintain a constant flow through the homogenizer mixer equipment. The pump forces the product under pressure through a small adjustable gap between the valve seat and the valve, causing turbulence and intense mixing. Homogenizers are best known in the dairy industry for milk, but Frain has a wide variety of vacuum, inline and high shear homogenizers for several industry applications.
