Frain Industries has many wraparound case packers and other end of line packaging equipment in stock and ready to set up for your application.  Frain has several options for wraparound case packing depending on your specific application, case size, collation, speed, and line integration requirements. Additionally wraparound case packers come in continuous or intermittent motion and can be automatic or semi-automatic.
Wraparound case packers offer a significant material cost savings over traditional RSC (regular slotted case) case packers. Â Traditional RSC’s have redundant flaps and a case size that is larger than required to fit the contents. Wraparound case packing machines eliminate the number of corrugate overlaps required while provide a strong case for palletizing and distribution.

Arpac, Model PC3500, Automatic, continous motion, 6-axis, servo driven, wrap-around case packer. Rated 10 to 35 caes per minute – depending materials, application and machines configuration. Product size range: 4¾" to 13½" Long x 7¼" to 20" Wide x 4" to 15¾" High. Tray height: 1½" to 8½". Equipped with product in feed laner and automatic blank case magazines, recpicating blank carton pick and place and has (4) chains adjustable with single load bar, servo drives and with Nordson ProBlue hot melt glue system, flap closers and wrap over case station. Control panel has A/B PLC and A/B panel view with touch screen controller with e-stop and statis light bar, with Seko gauges and interlock safety door guarding. Mounted on heavy duty formed and structural tubular steel frame.

Fully automatic case erector / packer / glue sealer capable of 5 to 25 cases per minute The product accumulator runs parallel to the case erector with a right angle air cylinder transfer for a single layer of product and features a 148"L infeed conveyor, and a 13"L by 19"W product transfer station. The wrap around case erector 80"L magazine with hand crank adjustments,Nordson hot melt, glue controllers, amber strobe light for non-shutdown conditions, red strobe light for shutdown conditions, blue strobe light for low materials, 21" centers, hand cranks and indicator scales for carton size adjustments, Machine equipped with an Allen Bradley PLC programmable, and 5/8" thick clear lexan guarding with electrical interlocks.
OPTION: Product up ender, an APV Douglas 1:6 servo lane divider, a six lane product accumulator, and a wrap around case erector with hot melt glue seals. The product up ender features a 4 1/2"W bottom conveyor and a 7 1/2"W side conveyor, to upend product. Lane divider features servo driven side conveyor belts to divide product into up to six lanes.

Adco, Model 21WACP-8-WD, Automatic, continous motion, stainless steel, wrap around, hot melt glue case packer. Rated to 20 cases per minute – depending on materials and application. Case size range: 4" to 14" in Length, 3" to 14" in Width, 7½" to 22" in Depth. Equipped with 28" long powered blank carton magazine, single head pick in place, 92" long powered lugged chain conveyor set on 21" centers with single ram product loader, hot melt glue unit with major and minor flap closers. Control panel has A/B PLC controller with HMI touch screen controls and start, stop, e-stop push buttons. Mounted on (4) leveling leg frame with cage style safety door guarding.

Arpac Model PC2000, Automatic, intermittent motion, 5-axis servo driven, wrap-around case or tray packer rated up to 20 cases per minute with number of product – depending on materials and application. Case size range: 3.2" to 15.3" in Length x 7.7 to 23.2" in Width x 4.7" to 14.7" in Height with manufacturers joint inside or outside. Equipped with 26" wide x 96" long product in feed laner conveyor and has 20" wide x 50" long automatic blank case magazine, side recipacating pick and place, (4) chains adjustable with single load bar, servo drives and Nordson ProBlue hot melt glue system, flap closers and wrap over case station. Control panel has A/B PLC and on board A/B touch screen HMI controller, Seko gauges with e-stop. Mounted on heavy duty frame with interlock safety door guarding. Capable of handling metal or paper cans, glass and plastic jars and bottles with proper change parts. Collates the product loads into a case or tray and seals them with hot-melt glue.

Ocme, Model Altair N 50, Automatic, inline, wrap around case packer/tray packer and hot melt glue sealer, rated up to 50 cartons per minute – depending on materials and application. Carton size range: Per application. Capable of packing bottles, cans, jars, canisters and small packages made of plastic, glass and metal, in round, square, oval, triangular and other container shapes and sizes with proper change parts. Can handle various products such as lube oils, edible oils as well as beverage products. Equipped with (3) chains adjustable set on 36" centers and 3" high lugs, 41" wide x 132" long product in feed conveyor with lane divider and squaring device, 96" long auto blank case magazine, 56" long carton despenser and feed ramp carton inserter, top product assist conveyor and Nordson hot melt glue system with wrap station and compression discharge. Remote control panel has PLC controller with OCME swing arm controls and digital readout. Mounted on heavy duty frame with interlock safety guarding.

Equipped with (4) chains adjustable set on 15" centers with 2" high lugs. 17½" wide x 198" long servo driven product in feed conveyor with lane dividers, (4) belt adjustable product bucket conveyor set on 15" centers and product pick n place loader. 90" long automatic blank case magazine, with suction cup reciprocating pick n place and case flap traps, Nordson hot glue pot, minor flap tuckers with wrap over station, Seko gauges and is hand wheel adjustable, with side belt case or tray compression discharge. Hartness Model CM/HTW 50-600, Automatic, continous motion, servo, wrap-around case packer rated from up to 60 cycles per minute with number of product and cases – depending on materials and application. Product and case size range depending on project and proper change parts. Equipped with 6" wide x 100" long product in feed conveyor, 36" wide x 144" long laner conveyor, 35" wide x 148" long extended automatic blank case magazine, with bottom up blank case feed conveyor, product collation section with single load bar, servo drives controlled by a multi-axle system and (4) chains adjustable system with electro magnetic clutches used to adjust length. (6) head Nordson hot melt glue system, flap closers and wrap over case station. Remote control panel has A/B PLC and on board A/B touch screen HMI controller with e-stop, Seko gauges interlock safety guarding doors, M4000 light safety curtain and status light bar. Mounted on heavy duty frame.

Kayat Model PTF28RH, Automatic, wraparound case packer with number of cases and product per minute – depending on materials and application. Case size range: 8" to 13" in Length; 8" to 22" in Width; 4" to 13" in Height; Lift and pitch (Height) up to 16". Equipped with product conveyor, lane divider, blank case magazine, recipicating suction cup pick and place, Nordson hot melt glue system, major and minor flap closers, Lexan guarding and central lube system. Control panel has A/B PLC controller, with PLS 5000 Electro Cam controls and A/B VFD with statis light. Mounted on heavy duty frame with leveling legs.
