Frain Industries engineers can assist you with your double motion kettle needs no matter how big or small your kettle project. Kettles with double motion agitation have agitators moving in two different directions for greater mixing action than a single motion kettle.
Savage Brothers, Model S-217, natural gas fired, copper kettle cooker and mixer with pounds of product per hour – depending on materials, application and machine configurations. Equipped with cast iron convection natural gas fired burner with 130,000 BTU capacity, single action scrape surface agitation with (4) 3½" long x 3½" wide scrapers. Currently has 24" ID x 16¾" Deep, 26 gallon capacity copper mixing bowl with lift off cover. PLC with HMI touch screen controls, agitation, power and alarm on / off switches. Mounted on heavy duty base frame.

Vessel dimensions: 26" ID x 24" Deep with bridge mounted sweep agitator and secondary x-mas tree mixer. Dish bottom has 3" OD / 2-1/2" ID side bottom discharge with 22" ground clearance. Controls panel has on / off heating switch, e-stop with temperature controller and pressure gauge. Mounted on "U" style stainless steel frame with (4) leveling legs. National Board Number # 94471
