Colloid mills are usually continuous operations that impart high shear forces on materials to for a stable emulsions and suspensions between oils and liquids with and with out particulates in suspensions. Colloid mills are also used for refining materials down to specification for granularity and size consistency.
Greerco, Model W750H, horizontal high shear colloid mill. Rated from 30 to 120 GPM – depending on materials, application and machine configuration. Equipped with a 2½"OD / 2"ID Tri-clamp inlet with 9" ground clearance, jacketed stator housing, hand wheel adjustable rotor-stator gap and 2½" OD / 2"ID Tri-Clamp discharge with 10½" ground clearance. Rotor powered by a 20 HP drive. Control panel with start / stop switch.
