Pluggers, or Plug cappers, are designed to apply plug caps or stoppers to containers. Plugger cappers seal containers by being inserted into the neck of the container. Plugger caps are designed to fit into or around a specific size neck and to fit tightly inside the container neck or tightly around the container neck to secure the seal. Plug caps are often made from plastic or rubber. Plug cappers are designed to apply plug caps to the neck of a container. As the container passes the plug capper, a plug cap is placed into the neck or on the neck of the container. To seat the plug cap to the neck, the pluggers apply pressure to the exposed top of the plug cap to properly seal the container. Capper pluggers are very simple devices and by extension, plug cappers are also relatively simple machines (when compared to other types of cappers).
Automatic, 4-head, rotary chuck-style capper capable of capping from 40 to 120 containers per minute – speeds depending on materials and application. Caps: up to 70mm. Containers: up to 4 1/2" diameter. Has 8" pitch, 100"L x 3 1/4"W tabletop conveyor, worm screw to star wheel in feed, star wheel discharge, four magnetic chucks, 14" diameter disc to transfer caps from chute to chuck, air blow-off of cap at container exit, and E-stop. Last capping 3 1/2"L x 3"H rectangular container with 48mm pressure applied metal cap.

Pneumatic Scale Model TC450-10C Plugger and Hoosier Feeder Company Model FT50 feeder system with amount of containers per minute – depending on materials and application. Maximum plug size 89mm, Maximum container diameter 4.97" Maximum square container with turret pockets 3.93" x 3.93". Equipped with Hoosier Feeder Company Model FT50, with 30 cu ft stainless steel, prefeeder with 26" long x 40" wide x 22" deep, stainless steel product hopper and 104" long x 23" wide incline product feed belt with 1" high cleats set on 6" centers with 51" discharge chute height and 48" diameter stainless steel vibratory feeder bowl with 2" wide x 1" high tracks has low product eye and control panel with feeder and vari speed bowl controls, with start, stop, reset push buttons and statis light bar. Mounted on stainless steel base platform with height adjustable leveling legs.
Pneumatic Scale, Model TC450-10C, plugger equipped with 52" long x 4½" wide container conveyor has 48" long worm screw to star wheel container handling, no container / no cap, (10) pluggers set on 5½" centers to star wheel discharge and (1) 28" long x 4½" wide discharge with (1) 28" long x 4½" wide reject lane conveyor. Remote Control panel has A/B Panelview 1000 HMI touch screen controls and stop, start and e-stop buttons. Mounted on heavy duty base frame with interlock safety door guarding and statis light bar.
