Automatic thickness and length sorting system for both tablets and capsules with number of tablets or capsules per minute – depending on materials and application, product size, shape and frictional characteristics. Equipped with 2 cubic foot hopper, vibratory plate and (3) classifying bins (2 for reject and 1 for acceptance) and variable speed. Hand crank adjustments for roller size and slope angle.Control panel has start, stop controls. Mounted on base frame.

Equipped with dual 23" long x 10" high x 10" slant bottom, stainless steel tablet feed hoppers with (10) 12" long vibratory tablet feed chutes to (10) hand crank adjustable sorting lanes for different size channel widths and different size tablets has 28" long dual tablet transfer rollers per lane and has fast lane adjustment for new tablet formats and (3) discharge chutes for too thin, too thick and good tablet thickness and is capable of sorting tablet thickness down to tolerances of + / – 0.05mm. Control panel has vibratory controller with start, stop, e-stop controls. Mounted on (4) leg stainless steel base frame.

Eisai, Model RMS-200-5, Plain and coated tablet, soft gelatine, capsule and hard candy, plain and coated tablet sorter rated up to 500,000 tablets per hour – depending on materials, application and machine configuration. Equipped with 18" wide x 8" long x 14" deep product hopper with stepper driven lift for easy loading, (5) channel vibratory feeder and tablet sorter with adjustable width and angle channel rollers with (3) discharge zones. High throughput, high precision, thickness sorting and is accuracy adjustable up to ± 1/20 mm. Control panel has AB controller with touch pad display e-stop and statis light bar. Mounted on a stainless steel frame.
Operation:Product to be inspected is placed into the hopper is then lifted by linear actuator, where the hopper is rotated to the production position by the operator. The hopper then lowered into position for inspection operation. Front hopper gate is opened, by operator, to a gap of 1.5 to 2.0 times the thickness of the tablets. vibratory feeder tray beneath the hopper feeds product onto the rollers and are adjusted with smaller gap at the top and larger gap at the bottom. This gapping enables product to be sorted into undersize, acceptable and oversize categories. The rotation of the rollers and the downward angle of the roller carriage cause the product to move forward. The product drops through the rollers onto angled dividers, then into discharge chutes and then into the containers.
