Form and Fill No Filling Head. A form-fill-seal machine (form, fill, and seal) that does not have a filling head integrated with it. The filling head meters the proper amount of product into the pouch that is created. The type of filling head necessary is based on the product being packaged in the pouches.
Fully automatic, left to right, 4-sided seal, continuous rotary motion, horizontal form / fill & seal machine capable of up to 160 packages per minute (40 cycles per minute, four at a time). Packages: (4" – 12")L x (1" – 4 1/2")W x up to 2"H. Features 120"L four lane "K" infeed conveyor with stainless steel slider bed and 3/8"W x 1"H pusher lugs on 11" centers, catch trays below infeed conveyor, two cross seals (first is straight, second is chevron style), 21 1/2"L x 12 1/2"W product outfeed conveyor, UV light above product outfeed. Equipped with Electrocam programable limit switch controller, E-stops, motor speed control, production counter, and controls for conveyor speed, conveyor time delay, outfeed conveyor speed (for shingling), first cross seal heaters (on / off), second cross seal heaters (on / off), first side seal heaters (on / off), and second cross seal heaters (on / off). Rated from 12 to 60 pouches per minute – depending on materials, application and machine configuration. Pouch size range: 2" to 7" in Width; 2" to 9" in Length. Equipped with chain fed pouch conveyor with (16) stations set on 9" centers, film forming plow, tension rollers, zipper attachment, pouch side seal with cut-off stations, (2) filling stations with suction cup pouch openers and heat seal bar. 16" OD maximum film roll, with 22" maximum web width. Stainless steel contact parts. Bag size range: 3" to 22" long x 2.50" to 13.75" wide. Bag Types: pillow pouch, gusseted and flat bottom (with proper change parts).
