Is It Worth The Risk?

Imagine that you’re offered a new job out of state. The job itself is exciting, but the thing that scares you—and understandably so—is moving to the new state. You really have no way of knowing the job security, or how long-term the job is going to be. When you get there, and these questions don’t have answers, buying a house may seem like an irresponsible thing to do! Why would you buy a permanent residence when you don’t know if you’ll be there longer than a year?

In this scenario, it would make sense to rent a place until you’re settled in. You can find your bearings, establish some job security, and when you feel like you’ll be there for a long time, then you can buy and settle in permanently. Packaging and processing equipment is very similar in this regard.

You may have a new and exciting project, but no one truly knows how successful it’s going to be. Is it worth spending the full amount of a new machine? It’s a lot less risk to rent the machine during the early stages of a new project. You can find out if the project is going to be successful, you can figure out if that’s even the machine you need in the first place, and most importantly, you can save some money!
