Commercial and industrial powder mixer equipment and machines encompass a broad range of equipment designed to mix and blend dry:
Powder Mixer equipment and machines are designed to fit their specific mixing and blending application whether it be powder with powder, or liquid with powder, though different types of mixing and mixing processes can be used to mix the same two components together.
The proper powder mixer for an application requires knowledge of the different substances that are to be mixed together as well as their mixing properties. To determine the proper mixer for the application, the desired outcome or end product for the mixing application needs to be known.
Commercial and industrial mixers are mostly batch but some mixing applications, such as powder to liquid, can be continuous. Batch mixers take a certain amount (batch) of product and process it for a certain amount of time.
Once the product is processed, the batch is removed from the mixer and another batch can be placed in the mixer. Continuous mixers move the product through the mixer so that a continuous stream of mixed product is being discharged.

Amfec, Model 510, 7 ft³ (5 ft³ working capacity), 304 stainless steel, dual paddle mixer with pounds of product per hour – depending on materials and application. Equipped with dual mixing troughs and has inner dimensions of: 48" in Length; 26" in Width; 22" in Depth with flip up top safety guarding style cover and has dual 12" wide x ¼" thick stainless steel paddles on 2" OD shaft, with dual 5 Hp motor drives, tilt to dump operation and 30" discharge height. Control panel has start / stop push button controls. Mounted on (4) stainless steel legs.

Patterson Kelley, Model 3 ft³, 304 stainless steel twin shell mixer. Rated up to 125 lbs per ft³ – depending on materials and application. Equipped with (2) 16" ID product ports, 26" long outer V-Walls and 12" long inner V-Walls, pin bar agitation powered by a ¾ hp drive and 6"ID discharge with 37" ground clearance. Shell powered by a ¾ Hp motor drive. Requires 80" ceiling clearance with a 21" swing radius / 42" swing diameter. Mounted on painted base frame.

Equipped with (2) 18" ID product ports with bolt down covers, (2) 42" long side V-Walls, (2) 20" long inner V-Walls, 8" ID butterly valve discharge with 38" ground clearance. shell powered by 1 Hp drive. Requires 105" ceiling clearance with 32" swing radius / 64" swing diameter. Control panel has control switches and start, e-stop push buttons.
