FACTORY ACCEPTANCE TEST (FAT)
At Frain, every project, machine or complete line of equipment is thoroughly inspected and put through Factory Acceptance Testing or FAT before it leaves our building.
This gives you the opportunity to sign off on the equipment or machine you’ve selected – and an opportunity for you to fine tune the machinery and learn any operating nuances before you take on the machinery yourselves.
After successfully integrating over 25,000 packaging and processing equipment projects, we’ve developed the following tips to help ensure you get the most of your equipment with a successful Factory Acceptance Test.
Bring the Right People
Take full advantage of the testing and training Include anyone who will be installing, operating, or maintaining your machine. You’ll be glad you did.
Plan for a Full Day
An FAT is for testing, training, and confirming the scope of your work. This is why it will take a whole day. It’s worth it to ensure your operation runs smoothly and addresses nuances prior to installation.
Learn from Our Technicians
You’ll work with our technicians that set up the machines and learn valuable information. We want your team to have a full understanding of your machine when completed.
Recommended Spare Parts, Manual and Startup Assistance and Training
After your completion of the FAT, our Frain technical team will supply you with recommended Spare Parts List, an OEM manual and Startup Assistance and Training. We are here to support you well after the machine arrives at your facility.
