Pasteurizer equipment is designed for the pasteurization of a product. Pasteurization is a process of heating a product or substance to a certain temperature and maintaining the product at that for a specified amount of time to kill all the bacteria and microbes that reside within that product. If a product requires pasteurization, proper pasteurization time and temperature is usually a know quantity that has been pre-determined by the regulatory body that governs the processing of that particular product. The pasteurization process is name after French scientist Louis Pasteur who discovered that microbiological organisms could be rendered inactive by applying heat to a product that were at temperature below the product??s boiling point.
