Freezers are processing equipment designed for the freezing of product. Freezers can use many different types of freezing media such as nitrogen, carbon dioxide, ammonia, or specialized refrigerants. Freezers can also be batch or continuous. Batch freezers take a certain amount (batch) of product and process it for a certain amount of time. Once the product is processed, the batch is removed from the freezer and another batch can be placed in the freezer. Continuous freezers move the product through the freezer so that many pieces of product are being processed at the same time, but each piece is at a different stage of processing. Continuous freezers discharge product at a steady (continuous) rate. Spiral freezers and tunnel freezers are continuous freezers. Box freezers are batch freezers. Plate freezers can be either continuous or batch.
Cryogenic Systems Equipment Inc, Stainless steel CO2 spiral freezer with amount of product per hour – depending on materials and application. Equipped with 27½" wide stainless steel mesh belt with 36" high infeed and 10" high discharge, has 14 tiers with 2-7/8" clearance between each tier and the drum is 108" in diameter from outside to outside of belt and has inside box dimensions of 120" long x 120" wide x 92" tall and has (9) fans, 24" and 16" in diameter with (4) access doors 36" wide x 96" tall x 6" thick, can rapidly chill, crust and fully freeze a wide variety of products that moves through the freezer on a continuous spiral conveyor and uses CO2 as freeze medium. Liquid Carbonics, Model JE-U4, 40" wide x 256" long, inline, carbon dioxide (C02) refrigerant (2) zone freeze tunnel, with amount of product per hour – depending on materials, application and machine configuration. Welded modular stainless steel construction. Equipped with 40" wide x 292" long stainless steel mesh weave product conveyor belt with 33" in feed and discharge height, 256" long chamber with (5) sets of spray nozzels and 40" wide x 9" high aperature. Cryogen temperatures can reach as low as -320°F, and overall internal freezer temperatures can reach -150°F. Control panel has push button start / stop for fans, infeed / discharge blower, conveyor and cryogen. Mounted on multi-leg stainless steel frame.The Model JE-U4 is easily adjusted to meet the chilling and freezing requirements of a wide variety of both cooked and raw products.

CES 3-pass nitrogen freeze tunnel with amount of product per hour – depending on materials, application and machine configuration. Stainless steel construction. Equipped with 48" wide stainless steel wire rod product conveyor belt, 55" tall infeed, 32" tall discharge, with 7" clearance between belt levels. Top belt is 33 feet long, middle belt 32 feet long and bottom belt 34 feet long. Control panel with touch screen HMI.

Equipped with 47" wide x 8" high aperature x 250" long stainless steel nitrogen freeze chamber with access covers and 47" wide x 286" long stainless steel mesh conveyor belt with 40" in feed and discharge heights, has nitrogen freeze zone and nozzles, with (7) top mounted turbulation circulation fans, spray header, gas exhaustion manifold and temperature probes. Control panel has temperature and freeze time, evacuation and belt speed controllers with e-stops. Mounted on stainless steel (4) leg frame. Model AGA, Continuous in-line belt freezer designed for gentle product and minimum loss of product weight during freezing.

WCB / Anderson, Continuous, single tube, ice cream freezer rated from 150-600 gallons per hour of 100% over run ice cream. 12" OD single product tube, full flooded ammonia refigeration, rated at 300psi @ 650 Deg f, to -50 degf @ 120 psi. has a 30 HP dasher motor, 3 HP hydraulic pump, and 2 HP product pump, with 1-1/2" OD inlet / outlet ports, 1" OD safety relief, and quick shut off valves, touch pad controller with temp, and pressure gauges. Mounted on stainless steel frame.

Air Products, Model Freshline Quick Start, stainless steel, Liquid Nitrogen freeze tunnel. Equipped with 278" long (3 section) tunnel chamber, 40" wide x 4" high aperture with adjustable height shield, flip-up access doors, side hand cranks for lowering the bottom section of tunnel and 8" OD exhaust duct. Link belt conveyor 38" wide x 315" long. Quick Freeze system with liquid nitrogen spray nozzles for direct contact with product. Controller with operator interface, digital readout for freezer and exhaust temperature, product retention time and conveyor speed controls. E-stops on each end of the tunnel. Mounted on height adjustable legs. Rates dependent on materials, application, and machine configuration.

WCB / Anderson, Continuous ammonia cooled (3) tube nickel chrome plated freezing tubes rated to 10 to 80 gallons per hour per barrel, depending on application. Features independent operation of tubes, three motor load gauges to determine product stiffness and stainless steel dashers with scraper blades. Equipped with (3) 5 Hp motors, (3) 3/4 hp mix pump motors, 1" sanitary infeed and 1 1/2" out feed connections. Mounted on stainless steel frame.

WCB / Anderson, Continuous, twin tube, stainless steel, ice cream freezer rated up to 200 gallons per hour total production of 100% air mix over run ice cream @ 22 Deg F. Equipped with (2) 10" OD x 28" Long, type 30 open dasher freezer cylinders, uses ammonia as refrigerant, (2) mix and two rotary discharge pumps with 1-1/2" OD sanitary infeed / discharge ports. Twin tube controls with dasher, refrigerant, feed / mix pump and liquid slurry controllers, quick shut off valves, dasher motors, freezer and pressure gauges. Mounted on stainless steel frame.

Equipped with 107" long freeze tunnel and has 36" wide x 3-1/2" high total aperture with dual 107" long flip up side access doors one each side with (2) sets of (7) liquid nitrogen inner chamber spray nozzles and (2) inner chamber circulation fans with a 107" long x 34" wide stainless steel solid flat band product conveyor belt with 36" high in feed and discharge chutes and top mounted LN2 (liquid nitrogen) injection panel. Control panel has ABB controllers with spray system and fan on / off switches, pressure gauge with 0 to 210 psi and 0 to 30 Hg vacuum ratings. Mounted on a heavy duty stainless steel base frame.

WCB / Anderson, Continuous ice cream freezer rated at 150-600 gph of ice cream depending upon application with a 12"long cylinder. Equipped with full flooded ammonia refigeration, 30 Hp dasher motor 3 Hp hydraulic pump, 2 Hp product pump, a 1-1/2" OD inlet rated at 300 gph @ 35-45 psi and a product outlet connection at 1-1/2" diameter. Also features a 1" diameter safety relief valve@ 150 psi, quick shut off valve and variable speed controls with LED panel display. Mounted on stainless steel frame.
