I’d never heard of Cabinet Magazine before but I suspect that I will be looking at it again from time to time. I recently ran across an article titled “The Coldscape”

Many of us in packaging work with refrigerated and frozen products. We are expert at making them but may not know what happens to them after they leave the packaging floor. This article tracks them through the supply chain to the end user or consumer. I had no idea that so much commerce was done in the cold, so to speak.

“More than three-quarters of the food consumed in the United States today is processed, packaged, shipped, stored, and sold under artificial refrigeration;” interesting throughout.

Unrelated to packaging but I read a lot of articles from the web on a variety of subjects. I have found a great app to help. It is at www.getpocket.com. You sign up for a free account. Once you do, it loads a button on your browser. Whenever you see an article you would like to read, open it, click the Pocket button and it will be sent to your Pocket Reader account. Pocket strips out all the ads, sidebars and so forth.

On your phone and/or Kindle or other tablet install the Pocket App. This downloads all articles from the Pocket server for reading. Now instead of having to go find and open the article again, it is right there in your hand.

Extremely useful app for heavy web cruisers like myself.
