Cooler equipment is designed to cool product. Cooler equipment can either be continuous or batch style. With continuous cooler equipment, product enters one end of the cooler and exits the other end of the cooler already cooler. With batch cooler equipment, product is placed within the cooler and is taken out of the cooler after a certain time has elapsed. See also cooling tunnels.
