Semi-automatic L bar sealer creates a plastic film pouch from center folded film around a product by sealing the pouch on three sides (fourth side is the fold in the film). The L shaped seal bar creates an L shaped seal, the long part of the L being the side seal opposite the center fold, and the short part of the L being the cross seal. The cross seal is at once the back cross seal for the current package and the front cross seal for the next package. Operator is need to load and discharge the packages.

Equipped with 24" long cross seal bar, 14" long side seal bar, jaws able to open up to 9¾" wide, 72" long x 18" wide cleated incline discharge conveyor with 1" high cleats set on 13" centers with a discharge height of 32½", powered scrap rewind, control panel with AB PLC and touch screen HMI on swing arm. Film specifications: center fold film 3½" to 25½" in width, up to 16" in diameter.
