Frain Industries has many Urschel machines in stock and ready to ship including dicers, slicers, shredders, Comitrol mills and other food processing and food cutting machinery.  We have Urschel machines for many applications including meat, dairy, vegetables, fruits, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, chemical and others.
Urschel, Model SPRINT, Stainless steel cutter, uniformly dices, strip cuts and slices a wide variety of products at high production rated with pounds of product per hour – depending on materials and application. Accepts products up to 6½" in any dimension. Equipped with 16" long x 12" wide x 20" deep product feed hopper, (4) paddle impeller, slicing and slitting knife stations with cross cut station. 20" long x 9" wide product discharge with 32" floor clearence. Control panel has start, stop e-stop controls. Mounted on (4) stainless steel legs with casters.
Types of cuts and slices:
Flat slices:1/16 to 1" Crinkle Slices: 1/8" to 1"Deep Crinkle Slices: 1/8" to 1/2"
Strip cuts: Flat Strip Minimum / Maximum 1/8 x 1/8" to 1 x 1" x length of product. Crinkle strips 9/32 x 9/32" length of product Circular knife cuts: 1/8 to 3" Crosscut knife cuts: 1/8 to 1-1/2" Crosscut knife crinkle cuts: 9/32 to 5/8" Crosscut Knife Deep Crinkle Cuts: 3/8 to 1/2" Crosscut Knife V-Cuts: 5/16 to 1/2"
Shreds: A shredding spindle can be installed in place of the crosscut knife spindle. Shreds will vary depending on number of spacers and shred discsused.

Urschel Model Sprint 2, Stainless steel dicer, that uniformly dices, strip cuts and slices a wide variety of products at high production capacities with product per minute and hour – depending on materials, application and machine configuration. Capable of handling product sizes up to 6½" in any dimension. Circular knife cuts: 1/8 to 3" (3.2 to 76.2 mm), Crosscut knife cuts: 3/32 to 1" (2.4 to 25.4 mm), Crosscut knife crinkle cuts: 9/32 to 9/16" (7.1 to 14.3 mm). Equipped with 18" x 17" rectangular x 26" deep product hopper, 14" diameter x 7" wide product chamber, circular and cross cut knives, 1½ Hp drive and has 10" wide x 24" long discharge conveyor with 33" ground clearance. Mounted on (4) leg frame with casters.Change parts required per application.

Urschel Model G, Stainless steel, compact dicer rated up to 22,000 lbs per hour – depending on materials and application. Accepts up to 5-1/2" OD product and utilizes slice, crosscut, and circular knifes. Cut thickness: slicing blade 1/8" to 5/8" crosscut knives 9/32" to 3", and circular knives 1/8" to 3", with 15½" Long x 19" Wide x 10½" Deep product hopper, with 2 Hp. Mounted on stainless steel frame. Change parts required to accommodate different size ranges.

Urschel Model G, Stainless steel USDA, dicer, slicer and cutter used for a variety of food products with volumes per hour – depending on materials and application. Utilizes slice, crosscut, and circular knifes with size ranges: 1/8" to 5/8" Slice Thickness, 9/32" to 3" Crosscut, 1/8" and up to 3" Circular. Continuous motion for uninterupted production and accept products up to 5-1/2" in any dimension. Product is fed thru hopper into a rotating impellor to the blades. Equipped with stainless steel feed hopper, discharge chute and lift off safety guarding start and stop push buttons controls. Mounted on stainless steel frame with casters. Change parts required for different size changes.
OAD: 60"L x 45"W x 48"H
Urschel, Model VSC, Automatic slicer for uniform segment, slab and strip cuts, with pounds of product per hour – depending on materials, application, machine configuration and type cut. Accepts product up to 4" in diameter. Equipped with 5" wide top and bottom product conveyor belts, 5" diameter product cutting / discharge cone. Capable of doing Segment cut types: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 or 12. Rectangular strips: 7.1mm x 10.3mm to 8.7mm x 11.9mm. Square strips: 4.0mm x 7.5mm to 14.2mm x 25mm and capable of flat slab, bi-slab, cross slabs cuts and coring with segment. Control panel has power on, start, stop, reset and e-stop push buttons with speed dial. Mounted on stainless steel frame with interlock safety doors.Change parts required per different applications and configurations.
OAD: 90" L x 32" W x 57" H
Urschel, Model RAA, Stainless steel USDA approved cutter. Capable of slices, dices, and strip cuts at speeds from 2500 to 5000 lbs. per hour. Equipped with 14" x 15" product infeed and 7" wide product discharge with 46" discharge height. Unit is capable of cutting up to a 3½" diameter log of product. Unit consists of slicing knife capable of 1/16" to 3/8" cuts, circular knife capable of 1/8" to 1" cuts, and crosscut knives capable of 1/16" to 1½" cuts. To cut different size pieces change parts are needed per application. Slicing also requires a change part. Unit mounted on stainless steel base. Last running in a bread operation. Change parts required to accommodate size range.
OAD: 41"L x 40"W x 86"H
Urschel, Model 1700 Comitrol, stainless steel, reduction mill for free flowing dry and semi-dry product with number of pounds of product per hour – depending on materials and application. Equipped with 14" ID x 7" Deep product hopper with 4½" diameter feed throat, 6" diameter x 1" deep milling chamber with (9) blade high-speed rotating impeller and cutting head with vertical blades, 11" diameter product discharge with 17" floor clearance. Powered by a 30 Hp motor drive. Control panel has push botton start / stop controls. Mounted on stainless steel base frame with casters. Operations include communiting, granulating, milling, slicing, liquifying, dispersing, and pureeing. Change parts required per application.
OAD: 50"L x 34"W x 68"H
Urschel, Model Diversacut 2110, stainless steel, dicer, slicer, strip cutter with inclined feeder used for a variety of food products with number of pounds of product per hour – depending on materials and application. Equipped with 35" x 27" product charge with a 84" high charge, swing open locking access door with safety interrupt switch, crosscut and circular knifes that accept product up to 10" in any dimension and 10" x 14" discharge chute with 32" floor clearence. Control panel has start, stop and e-stop push button controls with 5 Hp stainless steel motor drive. Mounted on stainless steel base frame.

Urschel, Model DIVERSACUT 2110A, All stainless steel dicer, uniformly dices, strip cuts and slices a wide variety of products at high production with pounds of product per hour – depending on materials and application. Accepts products up to 10" in any dimension. Equipped with product feed hopper, 4 paddle impeller, slicing knife station, slitting knife station and cross cut station. additional features integrated product take away conveyor. Mounted on (4) stainless steel legs with casters.

Urschel, Diversacut Sprint, stainless steel dicer. Capable of handling product sizes up to 6½" in any dimension. Equipped with a 17" x 16" hopper, 14" diameter x 7" wide product chamber, circular knives, cross cut knives, 1½HP drive and a 20" x 10" discharge chute with 15" ground clearance. Dices, strip cuts, and slices a wide variety of products. Rates dependent on materials, application and machine configuration. Change parts required to accommodate size range / application.
