Fitzmill, Model U, stainless steel hammer mill. Equipped with a 12" L x 12" W x 12" D (½ ft³) product hopper, 3" diameter feed screw with 1½" centers powered by a ¼ HP drive with variable speed gearbox and (16) 4" L x 1" W fixed impact blades powered by a 7½ HP drive with variable speed gearbox. Product discharge is 15”L x 5½” W with 38" of ground clearance. Unit mounted on mild steel frame with casters.
