Frain has hundreds of case packers in stock ranging in price from $3,500 to $150,000. Depending on your product, speed and container, Frain engineering specializes in getting to know your, process, product and production requirements in order to optimize the right case packer for you.  Cases come as slotted corrugated, knocked-down, opened, closed, RSC, CSSC, OSC, tablock, special, gaylord, bliss, open top, tray, over wrapped tray, and more. There are top load, side load, bottom up, case erectors, tray erectors, wrap-around, roll through as well as unloading casers.  Casers may be automatic or semi-automatic and have many ways of accumulating and patterning product. Additionally cases may be closed with tape, glue or tuck.  Frain can also integrate 3rd party equipment such as checkweighers, case labeling, readers, machine vision, palletizers and shrink wrappers.  A variety of inserters, coders and printers may also be added as necessary.
We offer both Robotic case packers, conventional packers.to load most any product into most any case style. RSC, FOL/POL, HSC, tray, wrap-around, display and other case types can be custom accommodated . Bliss boxes are created with a solid piece of containerboard that is formed to create the front, back, and bottom of the box. A bliss box case erector then inserts two additional pieces of containerboard to form the sides of the case. The two addition pieces are seal to flaps on the main portion of the case using hot melt glue. Producers demand efficient and reliable non-stop production in wet or dry environments. Wepackit, Model 350CP, 3-axis, automatic, top load, pick and place, case packer. Capable of loading (6) cases at a time at 10 cycles per minute, number of containers and cases – depending on materials, application, and machine configuration. Equipped with 13¾" wide x 274" long (4) lane Intralox style infeed belt with pneumatic lane diverter, 10" wide x 364" long rubber belt case conveyor with pneumatic gate indexing, (6) head (12) suction cup product pick and place heads, will repeat cycles until cases are completely packed. Control panel has an AB PLC with push button reset, pick-up jog, box abort and E-stop. Control switches for product conveyor on / off / auto, box conveyor on / off / auto and head manual / auto. Mounted on stainless steel base with lock down safety guarding. Capable of handling tubs, bottle, cans, cartons, sacks and thermoform trays with proper change parts.

Schubert, Model TLM, two-axis, servo driven, robotic case packing machine was designed for use with hooded tray. Rated from 5 to 30 cycles per minute – depending on pack pattern, materials, application and machine configuration. Equipped with a 4½" wide x 164" long product infeed conveyor to a 58" long side loading grouping chain with ¾" long x 3¾" wide x 2¾" deep pockets. Trays travel on an 84" long lugged conveyor on 18" centers. In the first station product is transfered from infeed belt to tray with a (12) head vacuum suction pick and place two-axis robot. Second station includes (2) 3" wide x 32" long powered magazines for leaflet insert, reciprocating pick and place to grab insert from magazine and a (2) head two-axis robotic arm that picks the insert from the reciprocating arm, places literature, closes the hooded tray and then transfers the filled case to a 4¾" wide x 218" long discharging conveyor. System is controlled by a touch screen interface and is mounted on a heavy duty frame with lexan guarding.

ABC, Model SP19, semi-automatic, case packer. Case size range: 7" to 19.5" in Length; 6" to 16" in Width; 4.5" to 18" in Height. Equipped with 8" wide powered in feed conveyor, carton accumulation section, up stack, pneumatic product transfer and automatic full case lowering onto integrated take away conveyor. Mounted on casters. Rate / Speed dependant on materials, application, machine configuration and operator dexterity.

Combi America, Model CHL, automatic, case erector, packer and hot melt sealing system, rated from 1 to 10 cases per minute – depending on materials, application and machine configuration. System consists of Model HCE case erector, front and back case sealer equipped with powered blank case magazine, vacuum suction cup pick n place, erectoring and case squaring section, top and bottom lugged case transfer conveyors, Nordson Pro Blue hot melt glue system, major / minor flap closers, with front and back ram arm compression. Model CHL horizontal case packer with product in feed conveyor, product up-ender, up-stacker, collation system, with single ram arm product loader. Control panel has A/B CPU controller with panel view, vari-speed controls with start and e-stop push buttons, interlock safety guarding and statis light bar. Mounted on heavy duty base frame.

Kayat Model PTF28RH, Automatic, wraparound case packer with number of cases and product per minute – depending on materials and application. Case size range: 8" to 13" in Length; 8" to 22" in Width; 4" to 13" in Height; Lift and pitch (Height) up to 16". Equipped with product conveyor, lane divider, blank case magazine, recipicating suction cup pick and place, Nordson hot melt glue system, major and minor flap closers, Lexan guarding and central lube system. Control panel has A/B PLC controller, with PLS 5000 Electro Cam controls and A/B VFD with statis light. Mounted on heavy duty frame with leveling legs.

Goodman Packaging Equipment Universal 3, Automatic, intermittent motion, stainless steel, 4-axis robotic case packer rated up to 200 packages per minute – depending on materials and application. Erected Case Size Range: 8" to 24" in Length; 6" to 22" in Width; 1" to 14" in Height. Equipped with a 96" long x 16" wide three belt lugged case conveyor with adjustable width guide rails, 96" long x 8" wide eagle belt product conveyor with vacuum indexing system, three head robotic vacuum pick and place, 1 hp vacuum system, interlocking Lexan safety guarding, A/B PLC, and an A/B Panel View. Mounted on height adjustable legs.

Thiele Model Automatic, intermittent motion, tray erector, end load tray packer capable of speeds from 5 to 30 trays per minute – depending on material and application. Tray size range of: 8" to 15" in Length x 4" to 21" in Width x 1-1/2" to 6" in Depth blank tray magazine with reciprocating pic in place feeder, leaflet magazine, 48" Long x 3" Wide product in feed conveyor currently set on 6" centers, mechanical pusher tray loader, Nordson hot melt glue system, with compression section discharge. A/B PLC controller with A/B Dataliner and Eletrocam 5000 PLS controls and statis light bar. Mounted on heavy duty frame with safety guarding.
