Back to All EquipmentCornell Model D-8 variable speed "Versator" with vacuum pump, rated to 2 gpm, depending on product and viscosity. Unit has a 8" diameter disc, a 1/2" product inlet, 1/2" product discharge, a 1/2" top vacuum port, with gauge and a 1/2" bottom drain. Product flows through a film-forming ring out and over the surface of the rotating disc at which time the dispersion/deaeration action occurs. Disc rotation rated from 2000 – 6000 rpm. Commonly used for despersion, and deaeration for food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical and chemical applications. Includes 316 S/S contact parts, quick release glass cover and AB starter boxes. Mounted on a painted steel base. Kinney 3/4 hp vacuum pump. Last running in a pharmaceutical operation.
