Over Three Decades of Evolution for Our Customers

MTV was a new show, Ronald Regan became president, Lady Di married Prince Charles, and IBM releases its first personal computer or PC.

This all happened in 1981, along with Frain opening its doors for the first time with the purchase of its first machine.

Just as everything has changed greatly since 1981, so too has Frain grown tremendously from one machine and founder, Rich Frain, to a service company outfitted with experience, breadth, and depth of machinery.

From one machine to three buildings now holding thousands of machines supported by a company of just under 100 people, including engineers and technicians with decades of experience.

Frain has evolved from simply selling machines, to providing the largest inventory of certified pre-owned machinery in North America.

All machinery is refurbished and setup running our customers product before it leaves our building.

From individual tanks and shrink wrappers to complete packaging lines and 65-foot ovens, we’ve taken on a variety of projects and evolved to better fit the demand of our customers.

This meant transitioning from selling machinery as we purchased it to putting work into every piece of machinery we bought before then setting it up for our customer’s specific application.

This high-touch approach delivers the best quality to our customers – while expediting the project with our technical, engineering, and financial resources to help our customers maximize profits.
