Shrink bundlers are designed to wrap a single piece or bundle of product in heat shrinkable plastic film. Shrink bundlers are designed to form the plastic wrap around the product or bundle using two rolls or plastic film (with only one notable exception). Shrink bundlers create bundles or product that have open ends know as bulls-eyes on each side of the package. By using film that is much wider than the bundle on a shrink bundler, the size of the bulls-eye can be reduced. By using a film that is narrower than the bundle on a shrink bundler, the bundle of product is wrapped by a band of plastic.
Shrink bundlers take in product and pass the product bundle through a barrier of film that is created by heat sealing the film ends of two rolls of plastic film. As the bundle passes through the film barrier, the top roll of the film wraps around the top of the bundle and the bottom roll of the film wraps around the bottom of the bundle. After the container has passes the heat sealing station, the seal jaws on the shrink bundler come together again to seal the films together after the bundle and to separate the wrapped bundle from the remainder of the film. This action leaves a film barrier created by heat sealing the ends of the film together, which allows the next shrink bundle to pass through the film barrier. The shrink bundle then passes through a heat shrink tunnel to shrink the film around the bundle of product.

Arpac, Model BPMP-5152, Automatic, inline shrink bundler and tunnel. Rated 10 to 35 packages per minute – depending on materials and application. Product size range: 3" to 12" in Length; 6" to 18" in Width; 3" to 12" in Height. Equipped with 72" long x 20" wide infeed conveyor, laner to flight bar transfer system and 33" long x 26½" wide overlap wrap conveyor section. Dual side film racks with splicer, servo controlled film feed, dancer and tension rollers with exact print registration, has smooth wrapping motion and bottom overlap wrapped sleeve. Film up to 26" maximum in width; 20" in maximum OD with 3" OD core with film cut from supply roll and film type low density polyethylene.
Shrink tunnel has 22" wide x 13" high aperture, x 68" long heat shrink chamber and 102" long x 25" wide conveyor, heating zone with heat controls, air recirculation fans and (1) end discharge cooling fans. Control panel has A/B PLC controller, with touch pad controls, HMI and flight bar, cycle, power on, stop and e-stop push button controls with product jog, run and registration control switches, safety guarding and status light bar. Mounted on heavy duty frame.

Arpac, Model BPMP-5300, Automatic, continuous motion, servo driven, shrink bundler and tunnel with in feed conveyor and laner, has bottom overlap and rated from 10 – 60 packages per minute – depending on materials, application and machine configuration. Product size range: 3" to 12" in Length; 6" to 18" in Width; 3" to 12" in Height. Equipped with 302" long x 20½" wide plastic in feed conveyor with overhead servo laner to flight bar transfer with 32" long x 26½" wide overlap wrap conveyor section and 8" long x 20" wide discharge conveyor to shrink tunnel. Arpac, semi automatic, inline, shrink bundler and tunnel. Rated from 1 to 15 bundles per minute – depending on materials, application and operator dexterity. Product size range: 6" to 18" in Length x 6" to 35" in Width x 6" to 18" in Height. Arpac Model 737C bundler equipped with 37" wide hot knife seal jaws with 20" vertical travel and (2) handed cycle start push buttons and roller transfer conveyor into shrink tunnel, powered film feed and has film specifications of 37" in width up to 14" in diameter on 3" OD core and film type polyethylene or low density polyethylene with film gauge of 1 to 3 mil.

Arpac, Model 108-28 RA, right angle shrink bundler. Rated from 10 to 20 bundles per minute – depending on materials, application and machine configuration. Equipped with 14" wide x 50" long in feed conveyor, 90° product pusher, 29" wide hot knife seal jaws with 13" vertical travel and bundle hold down tamp. 60" long single zone shrink tunnel has 26” wide x 18" high total aperture, 86" long x 29" wide product conveyor and cooling fan on discharge. Poly Pack, Model Clearprint 32L Series, Shrink wrapper with print registration, produces bullseye wraps using either clear, random printed or print registered film. Maximum bundle size: 21" Length; 28" Width; 14" in Height. Equipped with 28" wide x 220" long hand load lugged product in feed conveyor set on 16" centers. Side mounted carriage film roll with 30" width and 20" OD on 3" OD core. KHS Model SP 080V, High speed, (2) lane, right hand shrink bundler and tunnel rated up to 80 cycles or 160 packages per minute – depending on materials, application and pack pattern. Equipped with 240" long (8) lane product infeed conveyor with 40" wide seal bars that has 16" vertical height and right hand film loading with controls, 49¼" + / – 2" infeed and discharge conveyor height.
Khs Usa Inc (3) zone shrink tunnel with aperture: 20" in Height; 38½" in Width. 240" in Length. Temperature range: up to 500° F. with 38" wide x 240" long rubber belt conveyor and multi discharge cooling fans. Control panel has A/B PLC controller with panelview and HMI controls with immediate, positoned, fault, collating system disable enable and speed low, automatic switches, e-stops and statis light. Mounted on heavy duty frame with interlocking safety guarding.
