Revolving pans (coatings pans, coating drums) are used to coat product with different substances. The product is loaded into the revolving pan and the coating is either placed in the pan with the product or sprayed on using a spray bar which is positioned inside the revolving pan. (Picture your sugar coating on your morning cereal.) As the revolving pan rotates (revolves), it agitates the product and the coating substance in the revolving pan. The gentle agitation of the revolving pan equipment and its contents results in more coating being applied to the product. Some systems allow the coating substance to fall through perforations in the coating pan if the coating does not immediately adhere to the product. This method is one way to control the amount of coating that is applied to the product.

Equipped with an adjustable angle 40" diameter x 78" long coating drum with (8) 2½" wide fixed interior soft flight baffles, 39" diameter in feed and 24" diameter discharge with 28" in feed and 22" discharge height. Mounted on stainless steel (4) leg base frame with casters.

Gerhard Steinberg, Model DK120, dual 48" diameter, copper, doughnut shaped, coating pan system. Equipped with (2) 48" diameter x 30" deep coating bowls with 30" diameter product access ports and 32" ground clearance, (2) model WL-6 0.34 hp blowers and liquid spray nozzles. Control panel with coating output on / off switch, rotation direction switch, manual / auto switch and tilt up / down switch. Mounted on a heavy duty base.

Walter Brucks, Model 11G, 38" copper, doughnut shaped, coating pan. Pounds of product per hour – depending on materials, application and operator dexterity. Equipped with a 38" diameter x 19" deep coating bowl, 25" diameter product access port with 38" ground clearance and a Hot air blower. Mounted on painted base frame with start / stop switch controls.

Equipped with a 18" wide x 24" long flexlink infeed conveyor, 30" diameter by 70" long coating drum with (4) 2" wide fixed interior soft flight baffles and 20" diameter discharge. Control panel with pull to start / push to stop button and drum speed dial. Mounted on stainless steel base frame with casters.

Allen, 48" Diameter, stainless steel, continuous motion coating drum with pounds of product per hour – depending on materials, application and machine configuration. Equipped with a 48" diameter x 120" long coating drum with (8) 2½" wide fixed interior soft flight baffles, 2 Hp drum roller motor drive, 10" diameter charge port with a 66" in feed height and 48" diameter discharge with 48" discharge height. Control panel with an AB controller and AB PanelView 600 display screen. Mounted on a stainless steel base frame with 1125 lbs capacity load cells and casters.
