The Comitrol 3600 is a continuous operation processor designed for precise particle size reductions. Ideal for small volume production needs in pilot plant and laboratory operations within the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Processors benefit from the wide selecdtion of cutting heads & impellers that are available for diverse applications such as chopping, flake cutting, granualting, pureeing and emulsifying. Foods such as meats, poultry, fruits, vegetables and cheeses can be processed. Cutting heads can process portions from (10) thousandths of an inch up to 2”. Unit is equipped with all stainless steel contact parts, a 5”(L) x 5”(W) x 7”(Deep) product hopper, a 3”(Diameter) feed screw and is USDA approved. Product is advanced via the feed screw to the impeller and cutting head where the product is centrifugally oriented then reduced into specified portions.
