Paddle / Ribbon Blender is the greater range of batch sizes, particularly at the low end of the scale. The combination agitator style allow for smaller batches much like those of a Paddle Blender. They may be as low as 10% of the rated batch capacity of the Paddle / Ribbon Blender depending upon the mix ingredients. They have many ways of accumulating and patterning product. Frain can also integrate 3rd party equipment such as product: Mixers – temperature controllers, sight gages, batch weigh scales, etc, which may also be added as need arises. Equipped lift up cover, double paddles with dual 4" diameter shafts powered by a 7½ hp drive and bottom end 11" x 9" flanged discharge with 18" floor clearence.

Forberg, Model FZM.7, 304 stainless steel, paddle mixer. Mixing trough dimensions: 16" in Length; 18" in Width; 12" in Depth. Equipped with clamp down flip up cover, (2) sets of (14) angled paddles set on 2" diameter shafts powered by a 1½ hp drive and (2) 3" x 13" discharge ports with 16" ground clearance. Mounted on stainless steel base frame with casters.

Equipped with lift up top cover and safety grate, double overlapping paddles, dual pneumatic gate end discharges with 40" ground clearance. Powered by (2) 20 Hp motor drives. Control panel has A/B PanelView Plus 700 touchscreen HMI. Mounted on heavy duty frame.

J.H. Day 10.4 cubic foot, 304 stainless steel, dimple jacketed paddle mixer, with pounds of product per hour – depending on materials and application. Mixing trough (inner) dimmesions: of 48" in Length; 22" in Width; 26" in Depth. Equipped with full dimpled jacket rated to 125 psi at 353 Deg F. with (2) 1" and (3) 2" ID threaded jacket ports. Flip up cover with electrical safety shut-off and (1) piece top product hopper. (6) interior mixing paddles on 2" OD posts mounted on 4" OD shaft. Dish bottom has 3-1/2" OD center bottom discharge with 22" ground clearence with out discharge valve and 10" floor clearence with the discharge valve. Driven by 5 Hp, belt to motor drive with safety guarding. Control panel has main and auto switches with start, stop and e-stop push buttons. Mounted on stainless steel base frame with casters.

CFR, Model Mixing Conveyor, 10 ft³, 304 S/S, continuous paddle mixer. Chamber dimensions: 84" long x 16" wide x 22" deep. Equipped with a clamp down traugh cover, 15" long x 14" wide top feed port with lift off cover, CIP spray ball supplied by a 2"OD / 1½"ID Tri-Clamp style port and a 12" diameter end bottom discharge. 3½" diameter mixing shaft with 6" x 7" paddles and ¾" diameter x 6" long pins powered by a 3 hp drive.
