Tunnels Machines

Shrink tunnels, or heat tunnels, are designed to blow hot air onto a shrink wrapped package to shrink the heat-shrinkable film around the package. Shrink tunnels are designed with conveyor belts to carry the product through the shrink tunnel. Shrink tunnels are limited to the size package they can run by the height and width of the tunnel aperture. Packages must be shorter than the aperture height and less wide that the aperture width to fit in the shrink tunnel. Shrink tunnel can be designed with one or more tunnel zones that can maintain different temperatures. Shrink tunnels are designed with adjustable temperature controls for each tunnel zone.

Shrink tunnels can be used to shrink heat shrinkable film wrapped around a package or can be used to shrink a heat shrinkable neck band or body sleeve around a container. Neck band shrink tunnels are specifically designed to shrink neck bands and are designed to direct the heat of the neck band shrink tunnel directly to the neck of the container. Neck band shrink tunnels will often not be completely enclosed tunnels.
