Frain has hundreds of case packers in stock ranging in price from $3,500 to $150,000. Depending on your product, speed and container, Frain engineering specializes in getting to know your, process, product and production requirements in order to optimize the right case packer for you.  Cases come as slotted corrugated, knocked-down, opened, closed, RSC, CSSC, OSC, tablock, special, gaylord, bliss, open top, tray, over wrapped tray, and more. There are top load, side load, bottom up, case erectors, tray erectors, wrap-around, roll through as well as unloading casers.  Casers may be automatic or semi-automatic and have many ways of accumulating and patterning product. Additionally cases may be closed with tape, glue or tuck.  Frain can also integrate 3rd party equipment such as checkweighers, case labeling, readers, machine vision, palletizers and shrink wrappers.  A variety of inserters, coders and printers may also be added as necessary.
We offer both Robotic case packers, conventional packers.to load most any product into most any case style. RSC, FOL/POL, HSC, tray, wrap-around, display and other case types can be custom accommodated . Bliss boxes are created with a solid piece of containerboard that is formed to create the front, back, and bottom of the box. A bliss box case erector then inserts two additional pieces of containerboard to form the sides of the case. The two addition pieces are seal to flaps on the main portion of the case using hot melt glue. Producers demand efficient and reliable non-stop production in wet or dry environments. Pearson, Model GLT-UNI, fully automatic, 2-axis robotic, top pick and place, case or tray loader packer rated up to 200 packages with number cases or trays per minute – depending on materials, application, machine configuration and pack pattern. Erected case or tray size range: 8" to 23" in Length; 6" to 22" in Width; 1" to 14" in Depth and capable of handling flexible, ridgid or semi-ridgid product into any type of case, tray or other shipping containers with proper change parts. Equipped with 16" wide x 226" long empty case conveyor belt, 21" wide x 48" long vacuum belt product infeed, 21" wide x 132" long product indexing belt, 3 head / 2 axis, servo driven pick and place loading section which picks product from the side product conveyors to the empty case or tray conveyor. Control panel has an A/B PLC controller and A/B panel view controls with machine start, reset and e-stop push buttons. Mounted on heavy duty frame with interlock safety guarding and statis light bar.

Top case taper equipped with minor flap closer, major flap plows, 3" wide dual side gripper belts, 2" top / bottom tape heads, hand crank adjustable with Siko gages and interlocking Lexan safety guarding. Equipped with Model 2EZHS high speed case erector with 42" long blank case magazine, reciprocating pick and place, bottom minor and major case flap closers with mechanical pusher bar to Model Ergopack, pack station with 12" wide x 144" long Intralox product conveyor running parallel to 16" wide x 70" long hand crank adjustable rubber belt case pack conveyor, to Model TBS-100 FC, automatic, top flap closer, top / bottom case taper with 72" long x 3" wide dual side belt case conveyor, major / minor flap plows with 2" tape heads and controlcontrols. Delkor Model SP500i Spot-Pak, automatic, stainless steel, flat pad product loader with number of products and flat pads per minute – depending on materials, application and pack pattern. Equipped with 36" long flat pad magazine with single head (6) suction cup recipercating pic place, with 84" long x 22" wide flat pad transfer conveyor. Nordson hot melt glue applicator which applies spots of glue to secure and stablize containers to flat blank to maintain package integrity during transfer. 96" long x 18" wide flexlink product conveyor, with (2) axis (6) suction cup single head product pick and place loading arm which picks from product conveyor to load the flat blank. Blueprint Automation Model Swing Machine, automatic, single robotic arm, horizontal or vertical load, case packer rated up to 150 bags or cartons per minute with number of cases – depending on materials, application and pack pattern. Equipped with 72" long x 12" wide product in feed conveyor, single product pick n place robotic arm, dual product ram arm loaders and loaded case flip up station to 72" long discharge roller conveyor with 15-1/2" long, 2" OD rollers set on 3-1/2" centers with 1-1/2" gaps. Case size range: 8" to 24" in Length x 6" to 24" in Width x 6" to 15" in Depth. Equipped with 105" long x 1/2" wide (2) belt powered blank case magazine, reciprocating pic-n-place, 43" long x 12" wide bottom product in feed conveyor with (1) 3" wide x 24" long and (1) 3" wide x 36" long top hold down conveyors, product up stacker and single arm product ram loader, Nordson hot melt glue system, flap closers and dual roller compression discharge section. Douglas, automatic, knockdown case packer. Rated from 5 to 30 cases or trays per minute – depending on materials and application. Case size range: 8" to 27" long; 4" to 16" high; 8" to 30" deep. Equipped with (4) chains adjustable set on 30" centers with 4" high lugs. 15" wide x 120" long product in feed conveyor with upstacking and product sweep loader. 96" long automatic blank case magazine, with (3) suction cup reciprocating pick n place, case flap traps, Nordson hot melt glue unit, minor flap tuckers with wrap over station and hand wheel machine adjustment. Remote control panel has an A/B controller and A/B panel view touch screen HMI. Mounted on heavy duty stainless steel tubular frame with safety guarding.

Douglas Model DLT, automatic, continous motion, horizontal, trayformer, loader and hot melt glue sealer, rated from 5 to 75 cycles per minute with the number of product and trays – depending on materials and application. Equipped with (4) chains adjustable set on 24" centers, with 4" wide x 3" high plastic lugs, 27" wide x 104" long flex link product in feed conveyor with (2) sets of 48" long dual product metering worm screws and (4) product lane dividers. (2) chain blank tray vacuum suction cup recipicating pic-n-place, (blank tray magazine per application). Bottom lugged chain blank tray conveyor set on 24" centers, with product collation and tray lift wrapround load section with Nordson hot melt glue unit and side tray closers. Focke, Model 486, automatic, small footprint, RSC, case erector, packer, hot melt sealer. Rated from 5 to 15 cases per minute – depending on materials, application and machine configuration. Case size range of: 7.1" to 29.8" in Length x 4" to 24.3" in Width x 4" to 17.2" in Depth. Equipped with Siko gages, 60" long powered blank case magazine, reciprocating pic-n-place, up stacker and single arm ram case loader. Flap closing section with Nordson hot melt glue system. Control panel has A/B controller and A/B PanelView Plus 1000 touch screen HMI with e-stop and interlocking safety guarding. Mounted on a heavy duty base frame.

Wepackit Machinery Model 350CPSS, automatic, stainless steel, top load, pick n place case packer for corrugate cases, trays and standard dairy cases and is capable of loading (4) cases at a time with number of containers and cases per minute – depending on materials and application. Container size range: 6oz – 5 lbs on variety of dairy containers. Case size range: per application. Equipped with (3) sections of 10" wide plastic delran case in feed, thru machine and discharge conveyor sections with (1) 14" wide section of plastic delran product.
In feed conveyor has dual rotary product indexers to 3 lane product diverters to product loading section with 14" wide pic n place product conveyor and (4) suction cup end-effector product pick and place packing heads to (2) 22" long x 16" wide locator guides for unobstructed product to case entry with product layer pad inserting system and will repeat cycles until cases are completely packed. Control panel has A/B CPU controller with panel view operator interface and A/B Power Flex vari speed controller with Power Flex Touchpad controller and e-stops. Mounted on heavy duty stainless steel base frame with interlock safety door guarding and status light bar. FDA and UL approved.
