Coupon inserters / feeders are designed to feed coupons into cartons, bags or bottles. The coupons can come in either a pre-cut stack or in a bandolier style where each individual coupon is separated from the rest of the coupon roll. A coupon inserter / feeder for pre-cut product will pick off one piece of product from a magazine using a one or many vacuum cups. The arm, which carries the vacuum cup, then rotates the product and discharges the product at the proper location by releasing the vacuum on the product. The arm can have a rotary or reciprocating motion. Rotary pick & place machines can be designed with multiple arms for additional output.
