Top only case sealers are designed to seal the top of a case using hot melt glue. (For information about sealing cases with tape see Sealer Case / Taper.) Top only case sealers are designed to automatically close the minor top flaps of the case, to apply glue to the folded minor flaps or unfolded major flaps, and to close the major flaps. Often, top only case sealers are designed to handle only one size case without manually changing the parameters of the machine.
SWF Model 2D4B, Automatic top flap bilss case closer and sealer rated from 10 to 35 cases per minute – depending on materials and application. Cases size range: (8" to 24") in Length: (9" to 16") in Width: (4-1/2" to 16") in Height. Equipped with (2) hot melt glue systems with temperature controls, and integrated box spacer. 54" Long chain conveyor in feed adjustable from (4" to 26") in Height and 44" Long outfeed roller conveyor with case top hold-down. Mounted on a painted steel base.The machine closes the front and back flaps, applies glue to the side flaps, and uses plows to close the size flaps.
