Feeders are machines designed to feed various different kinds of objects including products, components, containers, bottles, coupons, leaflets, desiccant pouches, etc.
Coupon inserters and feeder equipment are designed to feed various kinds of coupons. Bowl feeder machines are designed to orient and feed various kinds of objects, including caps, components, product, fitments, inserts, etc, through the vibration of the bowl and the specific channels and plows within the bowl.
Vacuum feeder machines are designed to move granulated or powder products from one location to another through the use of a vacuum. Weigh auger feeders are designed to feed dry bulk product such as powder and slurries through the use of an auger or screw. Vibratory feeders (vibration feeders) are designed to feed various kinds of product including components, granulations, etc. through the use a vibratory pan.
Outserters are equipment designed to place a coupon or leaflet to the outside of a container, usually using glue to adhere the coupon to the outside of the container. Desiccant feeders are designed to feed desiccant pouches into containers. Incline cleated feeders are designed to feed solid object such as caps, containers, bottles, etc. to a specific height and discharge them using an inclined belt with cleats. Feeders are often integrated into pieces of packaging and processing equipment to reduce the labor necessary to handle components of the process or package.
