Commercial and industrial powder mixer equipment and machines encompass a broad range of equipment designed to mix and blend dry:
Powder Mixer equipment and machines are designed to fit their specific mixing and blending application whether it be powder with powder, or liquid with powder, though different types of mixing and mixing processes can be used to mix the same two components together.
The proper powder mixer for an application requires knowledge of the different substances that are to be mixed together as well as their mixing properties. To determine the proper mixer for the application, the desired outcome or end product for the mixing application needs to be known.
Commercial and industrial mixers are mostly batch but some mixing applications, such as powder to liquid, can be continuous. Batch mixers take a certain amount (batch) of product and process it for a certain amount of time.
Once the product is processed, the batch is removed from the mixer and another batch can be placed in the mixer. Continuous mixers move the product through the mixer so that a continuous stream of mixed product is being discharged.

Ross, model RB42B-18, 18 ft³ workable, double ribbon mixer with 304 stainless steel contact parts and pounds of product per hour – depending on materials and application. Inner mixing chamber dimensions: 60" in Length; 24" in Width; 28" in Depth. Equipped with lift up covers, 2" OD mixing shaft with 1" wide x (3/8)" thick (outer) and 2" wide x ¼" thick (inner) stainless steel ribbons powered by 5.4 Hp motor drive with variable speed control. 4" OD center bottom manual discharge with 36" ground clearence.

Equipped with (3) lift up top safety grates, (6) steam injection ports, 2½" wide x (3/8)" thick stainless steel ribbons and has dual pneumatic discharge gates with 42" ground clearance. Equipped with (2) 12" ID product ports with bolt down covers, (2) 23" long side V-Walls and (2) 7" long inner V-Walls, shell powered by a 1 Hp drive, intensifier bar capable (not included with right now) and would be powered by a 2 hp drive and has 6"ID butterly valve discharge with 36" ground clearance. Requires 80" ceiling clearance with 22" swing radius / 44" swing diameter. Has push button start / stop controls and digital timers. Mounted on (4) stainless steel frame with casters and safety guarding.

Equipped with (2) 16" ID product ports, (1) 32" / (1) 27" long side V-Walls and (1) 13" / (1) 8" long inner V-Walls, 6"ID discharge with 41" ground clearance, and shell powered by a 1½ Hp motor drive. Requires 90" ceiling clearance with a 23" swing radius / 46" swing diameter. start / e-stop / reset push buttons, hand / jog / time control switch and digital blend timer controller.
