Ross Model LDM2, 2 gallon, jacketed, double planetary mixer with orbital speeds from 20 to 100 rpm and pounds of product per hour – depending on materials and application. Equipped with 100 psi steam jacket and vacuum cover rated up to 29" Hg vacuum, model DS-2 hydraulic discharge press, (2) 3/4" ID threaded vacuum ports, vacuum gauge, (2) 3" inlets/sight glasses, safety switch, temperature probe port and Sterling variable speed gear reducer. Mounted on base frame with casters.

Oakes Model 4MB3A, lab model, continuous mixer, aerator rated from 25 lbs to 500 lbs per hour – depending on materials and application. Equipped with mixing head of two stators and a rotor, and is assembled with the stators surrounding the rotor. The rows of blades on the rotor are located between those on the stators, with no contact between moving and stationary elements. The mixing takes place between the teeth of the rotor and each of the two stators. Ingredients enter the head through the center of the rear stator, flow in a swirling path between the blades of the rotor and rear stator to the outer circumference of the stator cavity, then between the teeth of the front stator and rotor and out the center of the front stator. Product is discharged under pressure, it may be piped directly to the point of use thus eliminating any manual handling of the finished material. Air or other gas may be incorporated in the mixture and evenly distributed throughout the whole mass. The stator members are jacketed through which coolants may be circulated, thereby removing heat energy added as a result of the mixing action. OAD: 3’L x 3’W x 5’H
Ross, Model VB-001, 1 ft³, 304 stainless steel, jacketed and vacuum rated, vertical cone blender. Vessel dimensions: 22" top diameter; 29" deep cone. Equipped with a clamp down cover, electric cone lift powered by a ½ hp drive, (1) 3¾"OD / 3"ID I-Line style charge port, (1) 2¾"ID sight glass, dual action Nauta mixer with .33 hp arm drive / ½ hp screw drive and 2" NPT bottom discharge valve with 17" clearance (with cone in the up position). Control panel with independent push button start / stop and variable speed control dials for orbital arm and screw and a raise / off / lower switch for the lift.

Product flows thru a film forming ring out and then over the surface of rotating disc where the dispersion and deaeration action occurs, used for despersion and deaeration of food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical and chemical products.
