Shrink bundlers are designed to wrap a single piece or bundle of product in heat shrinkable plastic film. Shrink bundlers are designed to form the plastic wrap around the product or bundle using two rolls or plastic film (with only one notable exception). Shrink bundlers create bundles or product that have open ends know as bulls-eyes on each side of the package. By using film that is much wider than the bundle on a shrink bundler, the size of the bulls-eye can be reduced. By using a film that is narrower than the bundle on a shrink bundler, the bundle of product is wrapped by a band of plastic.
Shrink bundlers take in product and pass the product bundle through a barrier of film that is created by heat sealing the film ends of two rolls of plastic film. As the bundle passes through the film barrier, the top roll of the film wraps around the top of the bundle and the bottom roll of the film wraps around the bottom of the bundle. After the container has passes the heat sealing station, the seal jaws on the shrink bundler come together again to seal the films together after the bundle and to separate the wrapped bundle from the remainder of the film. This action leaves a film barrier created by heat sealing the ends of the film together, which allows the next shrink bundle to pass through the film barrier. The shrink bundle then passes through a heat shrink tunnel to shrink the film around the bundle of product.

Control panel has Allen-Bradley controller with PanelView operator interface and color touch screen, message display and self-diagnostics, low film alert, bypass mode – allows product to pass through the machine without being wrapped and without heating the tunnel. Mounted on heavy duty frame with status light bar and interlocked safety guarding.

Equipped with 17" wide x 32" long in feed conveyor, film splicing station, 29" wide hot knife cross seal assembly with 12" vertical travel, 17" wide x 30" long transfer conveyor to shrink tunnel with 29” wide x 16" high total aperture and 70" long tunnel with 112" long x 29" wide conveyor and discharge cooling fan. PanelView HMI with A/B PLC and status light bar. Film Roll: up to 27" in width; up to 14" in diameter; 3" core. Speed dependent on materials, application and machine configuration.

Shrink tunnel features a 29" wide flex link conveyor passing through an aperture of 32” in Width by 16" in Height. Tunnel length of 67". Top mounted "Turbo Cooling" blower at tunnel discharge.
Additionally features Allen-Bradley® PanelView 600Plus operator interface with colortouch screen, message display and self-diagnostics, low film alert, bypass mode – allows product to pass through the machine without being wrapped and without heating the tunnel, side mounted film racks, film splice station, status light bar and interlocked safety guarding.

Arpac Model 737C bundler equipped with 37" wide hot knife seal jaws with 20" vertical travel and (2) handed cycle start push buttons and roller transfer conveyor into shrink tunnel, powered film feed and has film specifications of 37" in width up to 14" in diameter on 3" OD core and film type polyethylene or low density polyethylene with film gauge of 1 to 3 mil.
Arpac Model HVP, single zone shrink tunnel with total aperture of 40” in width x 20" in height and has a chamber length of 60" with top mounted blower. Control panel has temperature, variable air flow, variable conveyor speed and e-stops. Capable of running boxes, trays, cartons or any conveyable type product. Mounted on a common frame with leveling legs.

Equipped with 20" wide x 70" long 90° in feed conveyor with 35" infeed height, overhead 1 to 2 lane pick and place arm, single arm carton flipper, single arm product ram through 10" wide seal jaw. Equipped with 6" wide x 108" long right angle product in feed conveyor and upstacker with single head product loading pusher arm, 16" wide seal bars with 14" of vertical travel and upper and lower 16" long film mandrels with 12" in maximum OD; on 3" OD core and low film detection. Control panel has PLC controller and LED display with tunnel and seal bar temperature controls, power on, master start, stop and statis light bar.
