Roller mills can be either vertical or horizontal and are referred to a refiners or finishers. The applications all require passing the material both dry as well as wet products through the rollers which are gapped at the nip point for precise size reduction.
The rollers are usually in pairs although there are three and five roller stands. The pressure to maintain the gap with roller mills can be controlled mechanically or hydraulically to assure uniform size reduction.
Ross, Model 4 x 8 TRM, 3-Roll mill with volumes of product per hour – depending on materials and application. Equipped with (3) 4" in diameter x 8" long rollers powered by 1 Hp motor drive, with hand crank gap adjustment, scraper blades and 8" long working roll area. All (3) rolls made of hardened steel. Roller cooling with ¼" NPT inlet port for cooling medium and ¾" NPT outlet. Control panel has push button start, stop and e-stop chain. Mounted on heavy duty base frame.

Simpson, Model No. 0, Style C, 3 ft³, heavy duty, carbon steel, batch mix-muller mixer. Rated to 150 lb batches at a time with pounds per hour – depending on materials and application. Equipped with 36" diameter x 16" deep mixing bowl, with 20" diameter x 8" wide roller mill wheel, 2" diameter feed pipe and 12" x 5" bottom discharge with 36" ground clearance. Powered by 5 Hp motor drive. Ideal for combined pressure and agitation to break down and coat components for a homoginized end product. Mounted on (4) leg heavy duty frame.

Buhler-Maig, Model 6 x 11¾, 3-Roll mill with volumes of product per hour – depending on materials and application. Equipped with (3) 6" in diameter x 11¾" long rollers powered by 3 Hp motor drive, with hand crank gap adjustment, scraper blades and 11¾" long working roll area. All (3) rolls made of hardened steel. Roller cooling with 2"OD / ¾"ID Tri-clamp inlet port for cooling medium and ¾" NPT outlet. Control panel has push button start, stop and e-stop. Mounted on heavy duty base frame with casters.

Ross, 52C 6 x 14, Three roll mill rated up to 348 revolution per minute – depending on materials and application Roller size" 14" in Length; 6" in Diameter. Equipped with 2 hp motor drive, steel mesh guarding, hand crank adjustable pressure, and a stainless steel discharge chute. Mounted on casters.

Ross, Model 2½" x 5" TRM, 3 Roll laboratory dispersion mill. Roll dimensions: 2½" diameter and 5" in length. 107 RPM back roller, 214 RPM middle roller and 428 RPM front roller. Equipped with piped rollers with (1) 3/8" inlet and (1) 3/4" discharge. (4) handwheels for manual roll spacing adjustment, 3½" long apron with a 2" wide discharge, 5¾" x 9" under roller pan and E-stop chain. Mounted on a 36" x 18" stainless steel table.

Roskamp Model 9 x 12 double high roller cracking mill with pounds of product per hour – depending on materials and application. Equipped with 9" OD x 12" Long cast iron rolls, 5-grooves per inch top pair and 14-grooves per inch lower pair, belt driven powered by 15hp motor. Control panel has A/B 1305 AC Drive. 6" OD flanged charging port. 13" x 12" bottom discharge and has 18-1/2" ground clearance. Mounted on (6) leg base frame.
